Villas in Costa Teguise

Villasun

Privately owned villas in the same street as Niteo House, the sprint venue. 1 to 5 minute walk away. Before booking, confirm with the owner how far is the distance to Niteo House. They are not listed on airbnb/booking.com, you need to book directly on their website: https://www.villasun.net/

Kelly Villas - Villa Eileen

5 minute walk to Las Cucharas beach. A spacious villa sleeping up to 12 guests across 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Features a private 8x4m heated saltwater pool, two living areas with smart TVs, pool table, BBQ, air conditioning, and free WiFi. Great for larger groups or families.

Lanzarote Retreats - The Beach House

Just 100 meters from Las Cucharas beach. A recently refurbished (2024) property for up to 4 guests with a solar-heated plunge pool, roof terrace with sea views and BBQ, high-speed WiFi. No car needed - walking distance to beach, promenade, restaurants, and shops.

Family Friendly Villa Lanzarote

Family-oriented villas in Costa Teguise with heated swimming pools. Offers two villa options accommodating up to 10 travelers, designed specifically for families.

Costa Teguise Rentals

Two adjoining apartments (Casa Bella and Casa Linda) located 100 meters from Las Cucharas beach. Can be booked separately or together for up to 5 guests. Features access to communal pools including a children's pool. Managed by long-time island residents since 1993.

Lanzarote Villa Choice

Multiple properties (3-5 bedrooms) in Costa Teguise sleeping 6-12 guests. Features include private pools, WiFi, air conditioning, and some with hot tubs. Close to Las Cucharas beach - car hire not essential for most properties.

Hotels & Apartments

Senator residence

5 mins walk to the villa. Recently renovated apartment complex with good facilities including kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a terrace. There is a chilly shared pool with sun beds, surrounded by a small well maintained garden. The complex is a bit remote from the downtown and the beach (15-20 mins walk) so it has quiet, relaxed vibe. The sunsets are amazing in Senator!

Apartamentos El Guarapo

12 mins walk to the villa. The apartments facilities are basic, all have a small kitchen and a balcony (or terrace), and washing machines are shared in the common area. There is a nice bar onsite offering good food and drinks, but it is open only till afternoon. The swimming pool is usually packed and not that inviting. The complex is close to a small beach and a picturesque promenade along the shore. Be sure to book an upper floor apartment.

Hotel Oasis Lanz Beach Mate

12 mins walk to the villa. The location of the hotel is a few steps to the beach and the downtown with multiple bars and restaurants. The hotel is beautifully designed and modern with a nice pool and a bar on site. Keep in mind that this is a hotel and its standard rooms don’t have a kitchen or a washing machine.

Hotel Barceló Teguise Beach - Adults Only

15 mins walk to the villa. It’s a high quality beautiful package hotel, very close to the beach and the downtown, has a lot of various facilities typical for package hotels.

H10 Suites Lanzarote Gardens

8 mins to the villa and across the road to the main beach of Costa Teguise. The hotel is only recommended If you’re coming with kids. Not a good choice otherwise, as the hotel is focused on activities for kids, and there is non-stop multi-stream animation throughout the day and loud music in the evenings.

Some of the places we don't recommend (based on our experience)

  • Apartment Golden and apartment Golden 2. The apartments are remote, with old facilities and the neighbourhood is not so nice.
  • Teguisol complex. A lot of construction on site and too far away from the downtown and the villa. However, you may find cost-effective options there.

Car Rental

Renting a car is recommended if you want to explore the island. Prices are usually below 200 EUR for the week.

Autoreisen

A local company with no hidden costs - price includes no excess insurance, unlimited mileage, free second driver, and free cancellation. They accept debit cards (no credit card required) and don't require a deposit. Must be 23+ to rent. Their office is at Lanzarote Airport.

Other car rental companies at the airport include Cicar, Europcar, Goldcar, Hertz, and TopCar.

Bike Rental

Costa Teguise has several bike rental shops if you want to explore the island on two wheels. The best cycling season is October-April with temperatures of 17-24°C.

Bike Spot Lanzarote

Located at Paseo Maritimo Las Cucharas in Costa Teguise. Quality bicycle and e-bike rentals since 2009. All bikes come with route suggestions and local knowledge.

Papagayo Bike

Operating since 1998 with shops in Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca. Wide variety from family bikes and e-bikes to pro-level mountain and road bikes. Delivery and pick-up available island-wide.

Planet Bikes

Over 30 years of bike rentals with shops in Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca. Mountain bikes, road bikes, city/trekking bikes, and e-bikes available. Free helmet and lock with every rental. Store pickup or delivery to your accommodation.

Abel Rent Lanzarote

Located at Paseo Marítimo in Costa Teguise. Electric mountain bikes and city e-bikes. Also rent scooters and mobility scooters. Helmets, locks, baby chairs, and baskets available.
